Lightricity, Kymira and NSG have been awarded a phase 1 SBRI contract to develop a unique solution that will better monitor and support nuclear decommissioning operators working in hazardous environments.

Lightricity advances Deployable Solar Power for Small Satellites
Lightricity has completed a £1.1 million UK Space Agency-funded project with AVS UK Ltd and the University of Leicester to develop a roll-out flexible solar blanket for small satellites.
The prototype combines ultra-thin multi-junction solar cells with a compact deployment mechanism, helping increase power density, extend mission life, and support more capable satellite payloads.
